Festival of the Sea will set sail soon
BARROW Festival of the Sea and Veterans Commemoration will be hosted by BAE Systems at Buccleuch Dock on June 7 and 8.
The organising committee are seeking participation from exhibitors and trade stands.
Any exhibitor or trader who is interested in taking part should contact Joseph Sides, BAE Systems, Barrow-in-Furness on 01229 873170 as soon as possible.
There has been a tremendous interest in participating in this event which will also feature naval vessels and the tall ship Kaskelot and will commemorate the role of veterans from the armed forces have given to the Country.
Ann Taylforth, Barrow town centre and festivals manager, commented: "We have been getting lots of telephone calls from exhibitors and have already allocated the catering concessions.
"Anyone else who is interested should really contact us as soon as possible."
