Woman found dead in city toilet
A 27-year-old woman has been found dead in the toilets at a city shopping centre.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been released by police, was found in the toilets at St Nicholas Arcade at around 5.45pm on Wednesday.
She was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police are treating the death as unexplained.
The Lancaster coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination is to be carried out to establish the cause of the death.
