POLICE are appealing for help after a woman was attacked in a pub car park near Dalton-in-Furness.
The incident happened on Tuesday evening at about 11.10pm at The Stagger Inn, Long Lane, Stainton with Adgarley.
The female staff member had locked up the pub and was walking to her car when a young man grabbed her from behind and put an unknown object around her neck causing her to fall.

The woman fought back and kicked her attacker, who let go and ran off in the direction of Gleaston. She was left with injuries to her neck and face.
The man was described as being white, 5ft 5ins, 16-18 years old, with a local accent. He was wearing a blue hooded top.
Despite a police search, the young man has not been found.
