Free Furness credit crunch workshop

AS a small business owner, you need to make sure that you are prepared for any consequences this economic climate is likely to have on your business.

To give small businesses the skills they need to survive and thrive in a more hostile environment, a week of dedicated Credit Crunch business events will run throughout England from Monday, April 28, to Friday, May 2.

The National Federation of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA) Credit Crunch Week is being supported in the Furness area by Furness Enterprise, the local "first for business support" agency who is offering a Take the Bite out of the Credit Crunch' workshop at Waterside House on the 30th April 2008 at 9.00 a.m.

Business owners will benefit from this tailored workshop, which will focus on issues raised by the Credit Crunch' in running and sustaining a business.

The workshop will specifically focus on '50 Tips in 30 minutes' to make sure that your business are ready and able to deal with these difficult economic times.

Experienced business advisors will be available during the day to answer questions. The workshop will be repeated at 4pm for those businesses who could not attend in the morning.

Val Robinson, Funding and New Start Manager at Furness Enterprise said: "There is nothing worse than feeling you are handling business pressures alone.

"A business never knows what is round the corner - there may be good times; there may be not so good' times.

"With a bit of focus and a realistic and practical approach, there is no reason why you can't handle the current situation and come out of it at the other side with a better managed and stronger business."

Places are limited, so to avoid disappointment contact 01229 820611 or e-mail Val Robinson at vrobinson@furnessenterprise.co.uk. to register your place for this free workshop.
